I had a family emergency, and had to dash out. The pause time was less than 50% of the total flight time, and was within regulation. RULE 9 states: "Pauses are allowed provided they are not excessive. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of a flight so we will allow reasonable pauses, but flight rejection for excessive pauses is at the discretion of staff. As a guide, we would class an excessive pause to be a pause which exceeds 50% of the total flight time, ie: an hour pause on a 2 hour flight." This was a 2hr 35min flight, and I paused for 1hr 14mins - which is less than 50%. Could this decision please be reviewed? Thank you.
