I am getting mightily fed up of losing flights as a result of this useless ACARS! I completed this flight last night but could do nothing with the flight after the ACARS crashed yet again. How is it possible for the terminal page to announce that the flight was completed successfully and yet does not record the flight or let me cancel it even though neither the acrs nor flight simulator is running! I have just spent an hour trying to resolve this and have ended up losing my flight. This is the SECOND time in as many weeks!
Hi Brian, I'm sorry you're having issues with your flights but since you are the only one experiencing this specific issue, and the only pilot using Sim-Avionics software, I would be more inclined to be looking at the software and how it interacts with Kacars. Drop me an email at [email protected] with more detail around the issue (did you close the tracker or sim before trying to file the flight, did either crash?) and I'll be happy to try and troubleshoot with you. There isn't any point accepting this PIREP as it has no hours showing against it.
