6 mins of overspeed resulting in 54 warnings. Please be careful to stay within overspeed tolerances. We will accept up to 10 overspeeds over a minute but any more than that suggests pilot not in control.

Robert Stenberg Ericsson (UNI1648)

Pilot of this Report

The overspeed warnings was because of heavy turbulence.

Sorry Robert, we only have a couple of rejection rules but we demand a certain level of quality. 54 overspeeds may well be due to turbulance but you should look to take manual control and drop your speed, or detour around heavy weather cells to avoid them. Your flight plan stuck to the route and altitude exactly which makes it look like you were away from the flightdeck on autopilot. If you suffer genuine stalls or overspeeds due to Activesky turbulance, you need to add a comment to your PIREP when you submit it, otherwise rejection is possible. It's usually fairly easy to spot false positives so we are happy to accept a comment explanation in most cases.
