Diverted to KLAX. Reason: Weather. Flown as VIASA VIA2245 on Vatsim, B727-200 aircraft. Made two VOR-DME and Back-course Localiser-DME approaches, in deteriorating visibility. Decided to divert to KLAX, LA-Centre was happy to provide vectors to intercept ILS25L. Diverted with 14000lbs fuel remaining (of which 12176lbs was 'actual' reserves). Landed at KLAX with 6241lbs remaining on board.
