Overspeed notes- disregard ovespeed notations 11:26 to 11:30 hrs, autopilot in (normal) MAX CLIMB and MAX CRUISE modes doing what they should...bumping the aircraft off the speed-limiter during cruise-ascent. (decided it looks messy and I didn't like it so reverted to VERT SPEED adjustment by manual inputs.) No gear issues in flight today (but on ground in gusty winds...gear lever on panel is repeatedly going up/dn- strange). Also JFK appch happy to vector everyone into wind for 31R. As it should be.
